Yet, there's a booming movement of mindful, purpose-driven individuals and businesses. From conscious consumerism, supporting local farmers and food markets, meditation, yoga, nutrition, and overall well-being, to coaching, leadership, and entrepreneurship. These people want to work freely, remote, in healthy environments, on meaningful projects, in community, for the greater good.

OUR CURRENT REALITY

The world is becoming more and more disconnected from itself. This is causing increasing global issues across culture and society, from health and wellbeing, to climate and political stability, education, financial, media, food, energy systems and more.

THE ANTHROPOCENE

Scientists have declared that we are in a new era, the Anthropocene. Which means, after 10,000 years of consistent climate and overall stability, humans are now the driving force of change on the Planet

2021 to today

This gave VIBEUP the chance to evaluate it's mission and purpose as a growing mindful community. We explored partnerships across the world to host retreats, build mindful-lifestyle driven properties, and ultimately see the opportunity to reposition itself as a global online platform to answer the world's growing need to support the movement in mindfulness, and connect mindful seekers with mindful resources and businesses.

2020

When the global pandemic hit in 2020, the festival business had to shut down and the residential division merged with a national leader in the space, putting VIBEUP in a position to effect 100s of residential communities in 10 US markets.

2016-2019

In 2016, the company expanded to provide community wellness programming and software services to dozens of luxury, multi-family, high-rise residential properties in Chicago. Managing each community's wellness and fitness classes, social events, marketing, and software

2015

In 2015 the movement evolved into a wellness festival bringing these like-minded people together in larger groups, and quickly grew to dozens of annual events reaching 100s of 1000s of people, featuring globally renowned teachers, leaders, scientists, and sponsors.

2014

VIBEUP was born organically in Chicago, USA, in 2014, by a group of mindful citizens coming together to practice mindfulness and community by organizing silent sunrise meditation sails on Lake Michigan. This "raised the vibration" of all in attendance... and quickly grew to 100s of people.

This leaves people fending for themselves spending time researching for quality they can trust, and wellness-providers fighting for visibility.

ACCESS: Currently, mindfulness resources such as courses, coaches, teachers, healers, doctors, events, and communities are scattered and not easy to find. People have 3 choices: Google, a referral, a niche brand or individual.

The goal of these platforms is driven by profit: Keeping people on their phones.

COMMUNITY: Large platforms like Facebook or LinkedIn are not dedicated to mindfulness and well-being, leaving disjointed experiences and distractions from all types of different users, content, and ads.

Once we've established the MVP, V1 of the mobile app will include fintech (financial technology) features enabling members to sell products, which VIBEUP will receive a commission + processing fee from.

Imagine the features of LinkedIn + Airbnb, but for wellness- a mindful platform designed to connect people with resources and ultimately each other, offline.

In the MVP the platform will be free for anyone yet offer a variety of premium membership options, incentives, and affiliate opportunities.

Our Goal is to reach 0.02% of the US Wellness Market, or 330k people, within 2 years. The US wellness market is 50% of the population who put wellness as their top priority in life.

After 2000s of hours and <$60k invested into design & development, we're only weeks away from our MVP (minimal viable product) going live and beginning our growth plans.

As soon as the MVP is launched, we will be able to grow the platform to 30k+ members within 6 months, while raising $300k-$500k, to be used for:

Mobile app development of the premium, high-end, custom VIBEUP mobile app
Marketing initiatives including paid ads, keyword search, PR, and cross promotional events
Team growth, as well look to hire 2 marketers, 3 tech-team, & 2 operations team

Once we launch the MVP, we'll be able to acquire user data for target audience profile, lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost. There's zero debt and minimal overhead of less than $1k per month with our Founding team working on sweat equity. By Q3 2024, we will profitably run a 7-person team for marketing, operations, and technology roles.

Since Covid-19, the wellness market is booming: 50% of the US population deems wellness as their top priority. Our goal is <0.02%, or 330k members, within 9-18 months of launch.

Wellness means the pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health
Global Wellness Market is worth $4.4 trillion ($1.2 US), with 11% expected annual growth through 2031
Top categories include nutrition, personal care, and physical activity, accounting for 60%, with travel, retreats, and real-estate adding 20%. We'll offer products in each of these categories within the first 12 months
Top health & wellness brands remain in healthcare and pharmaceutical, however lifestyle brands are growing rapidly
Consumers are seeking more control and personalization with their wellness practices

Launch Strategy

First, we will launch an MVP to learn and evolve the platform, across 3 phases in 3 months:

Beta-testing, 30 days: 40-100 friends and family users to test and gain feedback
Pre-launch, 30-60 days: 500-1k active users will be personally invited with a limited time offer to join and share, further growing the platform
Launch, 60-90 days: 10k existing email subs + 30k social followers will be invited

Unit Economics / CPA: The MVP will allow us to understand our target audience (based on previous historics: 25-45yo, 65% female, affluent, with interests in wellness practices), unit-economics (value of a member), and CPA (cost per acquisition) to incorporate into our growth strategy.

The MVP will be offered initially for free to acquire users and test premium pricing and products. Once launched, we will begin evergreen ads on social media, PR, and referral strategies with interested influencers and networks with millions of followers.
